This wheel thrown berry bowl is a beautiful way to store and serve fresh berries.

It's actually a colander that I put holes into while the clay was soft. It was thrown on my pottery wheel using some gorgeous porcelain clay.

I made the tray that it sits on by rolling out clay and impressing a cabbage leaf into it for texture. The glaze on the leaf and the leaf decorations on the legs of this berry bowl is a pretty translucent celery celedon while the rest of the bowl is glazed in a stunning aqua blue translucent. It's a beautiful combination. It measures 3.5" high x 7" across and holds 5-6 cups of berries. Dishwasher safe.
